image This course is designed to equip students with the expertise to become leading practitioners among a new generation of logistics and supply chain experts. Students will gain detailed knowledge of the various functional areas of a business, a broad appreciation of the complex environment in which businesses operate, and a solid understanding of the relationship between management theories and practices.

Under the specialist area, students will learn how leading companies organise and manage the planning, sourcing, manufacturing and physical logistics of their supply chains to ensure business success and gain useful insights into operational and strategic supply chain theory and practice.

Learning Outcomes
The course is designed to integrate a deep understanding of the subject matter with the development of key skills and competencies, allowing students to adapt to a rapidly changing, dynamic, and competitive global marketplace. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

► Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of complex modern business concepts, functions and procedures, and manage contemporary issues and challenges.
► Utilise practical skills and knowledge to make an immediate and effective contribution to a logistics-related role.
► Gain a solid understanding of global business from a strategic and operational perspective.
► Describe supply chain drivers and the metrics used in evaluating them to formulate a framework for a viable and sustainable supply chain.
► Analyse the design, planning and activities of logistics networks that support domestic and global supply chain operations.
► Collaborate to make decisions pertaining to the operation of supply chains and logistics networks.
► Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make effective and ethical business decisions.
